Mission Statement
At Psylent Journeys, my mission is to promote mental health in the Front Range by providing accessible and compassionate support for the transformative potential of psychedelic experiences. I believe in empowering individuals through education, fostering self-discovery, and promoting mental well-being.
My commitment extends beyond personal growth; I also strive to respect and give back to the land. By supporting native communities and nature conservancies, I aim to honor the profound connection between nature and healing. Through advocacy, accessibility, and community engagement, I envision a future where psychedelic therapy is not only a path to individual wellness but also a force for positive social and environmental change.

Who am I?
Choosing a guide for your journey that you feel comfortable with and actually "vibe with" is a critically important first step of journeywork. Give me a call and we can chat before you commit to anything. I will never be offended if I am not the right guide for you; I can likely recommend a peer of mine.
My name is Dylan Cook. I am the sole owner and operator of Psylent Journeys. I am a Colorado native, born and raised in Boulder. My journey with psychedelics as a tool for mental health started over 12 years ago, and it’s been a key component ever since. When Prop 122 passed in November I heard my calling to share these amazing medicines with others in the healthiest way possible. Consent and knowledge are the cornerstones of my practice.

I am a professional full-time psychedelic guide. I am certified by the Center of Medicinal Mindfulness in Boulder, CO. I have experience guiding clients through medicine journeys with Psilocybin, Cannabis, and Ketamine, and I hope to offer more soon. I am open and welcoming to all kinds of people (who are over 21!). All creeds, colors, religions, orientations, ages, abilities, incomes, and nationalities. My space is one of welcome, never judgement.

Guiding Principle: The Holotropic Mind
The guiding principle of my practice is "The Holotropic Mind." A term coined by Stanislov Grof (a lifelong psychiatric researcher) in his book The Holotropic Mind, the term essentially means that the human mind is a magnificent organ with incredible self-healing capabilities.
"Holo" means wholeness, and "tropic" means motion towards, Grof holds that the mind naturally strives to move toward wholeness. It is in a state of altered consciousness where Grof found that the mind has the greatest potential for achieving a deeper understanding of the self and the universe.
Whether achieved through meditation, breathwork, psychedelics, or even near-death experiences, these states of altered consciousness have been a right of passage of indigenous cultures for millennia. While a doctor may be able to clean a wound and apply a bandage, the body itself does the healing.
In this way, I propose that psychedelic-assisted therapy is an excellent method for gaining new perspectives and ideas. We do not enter the experience expecting answers or epiphanies, we only seek to better understand ourselves and through this understanding to grow and improve.
